Hannah Yep recently joined the Office of Community Engaged Learning as a Graduate Assistant (GA), working with Kelly Bleakley who is also a GA for the office. Hannah has an undergraduate degree in Psychology from Lewis University, from which she graduated in December 2022. She is now pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in the Adult track at Lewis.
Hannah has previous experience working with the community, as she was a client advocate for women in crisis pregnancies in Evergreen Park during her junior and senior year of her undergrad. She also was a part of the community at Lewis University as a previous peer minister who helped create a new women’s bible study, called EmpowHer, where women come to learn about what it means to be a woman in the eyes of God, others, and ourselves.
She is looking forward to working with students and faculty to help foster relationship building and community involvement on campus and beyond.
